The P-pop scene is getting another exciting addition, and this time, it’s GAT!—short for Gawang Atin ‘To. Composed of Ethan, Charles, Derick, Hans, and Michael, these five young talents are ready to make waves in the industry with their fresh sound, electrifying performances, and undeniable charm.
Even before their official debut, GAT has already built a strong following. Their latest hit “Daleng Dale” and their rendition of James Reid’s “Huwag Ka Nang Humirit” have gone viral on TikTok, with fans from all over the world joining the dance challenge. But music isn’t their only strength—these boys also showcase their acting skills as part of the widely streamed Wattpad series adaptation, Ang Mutya ng Section E.

Ethan – Singer
Nathan Pala David is the group’s (unofficial) leader. Ethan brings years of experience to GAT. A former member of NITRO and BOIZ, he has been in the industry for nearly a decade. His favorite hobby consists of watching K-dramas, live performances, cooking, and live streaming. Although he was born at Capas, Tarlac, Ethan lived in Vancouver, Canada most of his life. Winning the 2015 WCOPA Junior Vocalist of the World has made him famous. He made his solo debut with the song “Say’Yo” in 2017. You might recognize him from Squad Goals (2018), Two Weeks, End (2022), and How to Love Mr. Heartless (2022). Currently, he plays Calix in Ang Mutya ng Section E. Aside from being an idol and an actor, Ethan is a model as well.
Charles – Lead Dancer, Singer
At senior high school age, Charles Raymond Law is the youngest in the group, balancing his studies through homeschooling while pursuing his P-pop dreams. He was born in Florida, USA but is now residing at Parañaque. His interests include dancing and singing. Charles shared that if he could have superpower– it would be the ability to time travel. Aside from being an idol and an actor, Charles is also a video content creator, model, and a brand ambassador. His first Youtube content was uploaded in 2019. One of the things he enjoys the most is gaming and playing badminton– but his favorite sport is basketball. In AMNSE, he plays Ci-N, and within GAT, he’s already gaining recognition for his sharp dance moves.
Michael – Composer, Producer
Michael Keith is one of GAT’s key songwriters and co-producers. Michael has been releasing music under Viva since 2020. He even co-produced his first track, “Thrill Me”, with Thyro Alfaro. In AMNSE, he plays Eren. His hobbies are swimming, surfing, basketball, pickleball, and weightlifting. Another PH’s Fil-Am boy whose hometown are Huntington Beach, CA and Mandaluyong– fans have also pointed out his resemblance to James Reid, not just in looks but in talent and overall vibe. Michael has also expanded his craft for working with famous childhood stations like Disney and Nickelodeon. Appearances in numerous commercial films, both in the Philippines and United States has boomed his career. His rehearsals and performances essentials consist of energy drinks, water, tea, honey, and cough drops– taking care of his vocal chords is a must!
Derick – Singer
Derick Ong is a natural model and the tallest in the group. Derick might be on the shy side, but his presence is undeniable. His hobbies consist of sleeping, music, food trips, and hockey. Fun fact– Derick is not just a model and an actor, he's a hockey player as well! BBQ double cheese burgers are his comfort food, and one thing about Derick– knee supports and comfy shoes are his essentials in rehearsals and performances. The boys often hype him up as the fastest learner in choreography, proving that his talents extend far beyond his quiet demeanor. He portrays Blaster, in AMNSE.
Hans – Main Dancer, Singer
Hans Paroda is the group’s (unofficial) main dancer and singer. His interests include movies, music, dance, combat sports, cars, and motorcycles. Fun fact– he trains in boxing! His other hobbies are playing basketball, badminton, and watching movies. Like Charles, he juggles his senior high school studies and life as an artist by being homeschooled. Hans was a Born to Be a Star Philippines contestant and contributed to the soundtracks of More Than Blue (2021) and Puto (2021). He knows how to play the guitar and piano, and loves pizza and everything with cheese! His high-energy personality keeps the team dynamic and lively.
To reach the international stage is the goal for every Ppop artists– GAT being one of them. Although now, their dream is to just perform on their best forms, to not be burdened by the pressure of being an idol, and just enjoy the journey of being one. For now, all they want is to successfully launch their debut album, and to hopefully collaborate and share the stage with other Ppop artists.
With their pre-debut hits already capturing the hearts of Filipinos, we hope that GAT continues to rise and inspire the youth with their talents. In the meantime, let’s enjoy and move to the beats of #GATDanceChallenge!
