It's Summertime in the World of OZ with Marina Summers as Glinda!
The United Kingdom is about to experience a new Witch of the North as the Filipina Drag Diva Marina Summers will star as Glinda in the Adult Panto tour in the UK from January to March this year.
"I will be doing an Adult Panto tour in the UK. I will be playing Glinda in 'Wizard of Oz.' Then right after that, we'll be announcing more tours, residences, and international appearances," Marina revealed in an interview with ABS-CBN news.
Under Charming Entertainment, the Adult Panto Tour is known for its amateur theatre stages, including drag-themed pantomimes. Expect bad language and adult materials, including in the show. With this, it is advised that an adult must accompany viewers under 18 years old.
Starring alongside Marina Summers, the audience will also see another queens such as RuPaul's Drag Race UK Season 2 star A'Whora, as the Wicked Witch of the West; RuPaul's Drag Race UK Season 1 runner-up Divina de Campo as the Wizard; and RuPaul's Drag Race UK Season 6 Queen Kyran Thrax.
Since her achievement at the Drag Race Philippines Season 1, the Nueva Vizcaya Queen Marina Summers took the drag global stage as she bagged the 3rd place spot in Drag Race: UK vs. The World.
