Pia Wurtzbach to Auction Pageant Memorabilia for a Cause at Love Gala

Former Miss Universe 2025, Pia Wurtzbach, is teaming up with Love Yourself, a non-profit organization focused on HIV awareness and prevention, to auction off some of her iconic pageant memorabilia at the Love Gala on December 3, 2024. The proceeds will go toward building a youth center in Taguig City.

Wurtzbach shared this vision in March, stating that this auction is part of her goal to create the youth center in honor of her 10th anniversary as Miss Universe. “That (youth center) will be my goal for next year since [it's] going to be my 10th year anniversary,” she said in an interview.

Among the treasures up for grabs are her official Binibining Pilipinas and Miss Universe sashes, including her first pageant sash from 2013 as the Binibining Pilipinas 2013 1st runner-up. Other items include her official Miss Universe sash, the public event sash, and her red HIV/AIDS awareness sash.

Fans will also have the chance to bid on her stunning silver fringe dress worn during the Miss Universe 2015 pageant, designed by American fashion designer Sherri Hill. This dress was memorable for its role in her journey to the top 15 semifinalists.

Additionally, Wurtzbach will auction her question-and-answer notebooks from her three-year pageant journey, filled with her thoughts and reflections.

The Love Gala, themed “Eternal Elegance: A Night of Timeless Love,” promises an evening of celebration and philanthropy. The upcoming youth center aims to provide a safe space for young people to access education, prevention, and treatment related to HIV, while Love Yourself continues to promote awareness and reduce stigma surrounding the virus.
