How would you describe your modeling style, and what influences or inspirations guide your fashion choices on the runway and in photoshoots?
As a newcomer to the industry, my modeling style is all about embracing my natural self. I apply techniques l've learned from years of dancing, which help me flow and stay in rhythm. I feel most comfortable when I'm not restricted, but I understand that sometimes I have to follow the creatives' direction-and that's perfectly fine because it's part of the job. As for fashion choices, I don't usually get to pick what I wear for photoshoots, but with the incredible talent of Filipino stylists, l've never been disappointed with any of my looks.
Can you share a bit about your journey into the modeling industry and what experiences have shaped your approach to modeling?
My journey began with a shoot for a local cosmetics brand, where I struggled with projecting confidence and felt frustrated by my repetitive poses. At the time, I was also insecure about my vitiligo. However, over time, the appreciation I received from others helped me embrace my uniqueness and love myself. It was a challenging process, but eventually, I grew into a place of self-acceptance. Now, I'm more motivated than ever to pursue modeling, not just for myself, but to inspire others who may feel different or discriminated.
What are your long-term goals in modeling, and how do you plan to achieve them within the fashion industry?
To be honest, I want to stay in this scene for as long life allows me. I feel that people with unique traits, like myself, still aren't fully embraced by society, and I believe I have a responsibility to push for better representation. Through modeling, I want to continue advocating for those who feel like they don't fit traditional standards.
What is your ultimate goal as a model, and how do you see your career evolving and making an impact in the industry?
My ultimate goal is to be a symbol of representation for people who face shaming, whether it's because of their skin or other differences. I want to break boundaries and prove that people like me can have a place in the modeling industry. By doing so, I hope to inspire others and contribute to a more inclusive fashion world.

How would you describe your modeling style, and what influences or inspirations guide your fashion choices on the runway and in photoshoots?
I’d describe my modeling style with these three words: versatile, unique, and revolutionary. I have a very androgynous look; I can dress however I please, and I can be both masculine and feminine. I am not bound by gender stereotypes, and I can make everything I wear look good. Being different sets you apart from everyone. As a model, you’re not just a mannequin; you bring life to the clothes and tell a story with every look you wear. You should also be adaptable and adjust to every scenario handed to you.
Can you share a bit about your journey into the modeling industry and what experiences have shaped your approach to modeling?
I started from nothing—no connections, no management, no name, just my dreams and passion. When I was starting out, I had to take a two-hour bus ride from Batangas to Manila and vice versa just to show up at castings and test shoots. I was a young aspiring model who risked it all to pursue my dream, even though I didn’t know what the future had in store for me.
I remember when my senior high school teacher told me, “Hindi ka bagay mag-model.” That comment may have brought me down for a moment, but rather than letting the negativity push me further down, I used it as motivation to prove them wrong—to prove everyone who didn’t believe in me and my dream wrong. Rejection is also a part of our work; there will be more rejections than successes. It’s normal, so don’t take rejections personally. Rejection is a redirection. Our industry is very cutthroat; if you don’t have what it takes, if you don’t have the heart, the passion, the drive, or if you don’t love what you do, you won’t last long.
What are your long-term goals in modeling, and how do you plan to achieve them within the fashion industry?
My long-term goals in modeling go beyond just being a model in the Philippines; I want to be an international model as well. I aim to become a top model both locally and internationally. I want to book all the shows, work with luxury designers, land major campaigns, appear in magazines, and continue to establish and strengthen my unique personal brand. My goal is to keep my name on everyone’s lips.
What is your ultimate goal as a model, and how do you see your career evolving and making an impact in the industry?
My ultimate goal as a model is to be the most iconic non-binary Filipino supermodel. I want that when people are asked, “Who’s your favorite model?” they answer my name, “Saint Yves.” Or if asked about Filipino models, I want “Saint Yves” to be the first name that comes to mind. I want to be every model’s favorite model. I want to be known and to be everywhere.
I envision myself gracing every magazine, appearing on billboards at EDSA and NYC’s Times Square, and participating in international campaigns. I want my impact in the industry to reflect how grateful I am to be one of the openly non-binary individuals breaking Filipino fashion industry standards, reshaping the fashion industry. Breaking stereotypes, I walked in an all-women’s show during the TONI&GUY fashion show, and I was the only non-binary individual. I’m small, petite, tanned, curly-haired, and non-binary, yet I walk runways filled with binary individuals, both men and women, who fit the ideal and stereotypical beauty standards of society.
You can see me in the pages of Vogue PH, MEGA Magazine, and Preview. I’m building an empire, dismantling gender norms through fashion. I’m so grateful to represent and inspire people who look like me and are like me. This is for all the queer, non-binary kids who were bullied and misunderstood just because they’re different, have a unique vision for fashion, and their style. I’m paving the way for those queer kids who want to start a career in the same industry as mine. This is for them. This is proof that if you put in the work and believe in yourself, you can make your dreams come true!

How would you describe your modeling style, and what influences or inspirations guide your fashion choices on the runway and in photoshoots?
My modeling style is versatile. I’m someone who loves to try everything, honestly. When it comes to my fashion choices and inspirations, I always look at and research the 90s to Y2K era because everything from that time is timeless. I can still incorporate those styles into my fashion choices and work today.
Can you share a bit about your journey into the modeling industry and what experiences have shaped your approach to modeling?
I entered the local modeling scene with zero knowledge. I met my now-friends Trace Dela Cruz and Sef Llanes, who played a big role in helping me in the industry because they knew it better than I did. It all started with my DIY set card, the courage to attend castings, and the rest is history.
Being in the industry for a couple of years has made me realize that it’s a real job. Back then, I always looked at it as glitz and glam, but now I see it as a serious profession that I have to put 100% into all the time.
What are your long-term goals in modeling, and how do you plan to achieve them within the fashion industry?
My goals since I entered the industry have been not only to be seen but also to represent the LGBTQ+ community. Being visible is crucial because younger generations might see me on a show or in shoots and know that it’s possible to achieve their dreams. Visibility and inclusivity have always been my goals, and I believe that as long as I’m getting booked, I’m achieving my goals simply by being there.
What is your ultimate goal as a model, and how do you see your career evolving and making an impact in the industry?
The ultimate goal is to be the next big thing and perhaps do it internationally as well. I think my career is moving forward and doing well. I just hope it continues to grow. As I always say, it’s not just myself that I bring into the industry but also my community. That’s the impact I want to show—the dollz can and will.

How would you describe your modeling style, and what influences or inspirations guide your fashion choices on the runway and in photoshoots?
I don’t have a specific style when it comes to modeling because, as a model, you need to execute the concept required by the brand. You have to adapt and embody the essence of the brand you’re working with.
Can you share a bit about your journey into the modeling industry and what experiences have shaped your approach to modeling?
My journey in modeling has been a continuous learning experience through both great times and challenging moments. Working with different brands has shaped my approach to modeling. It’s a profession that requires not just modeling skills and fashion knowledge, but also physical endurance and the ability to interact confidently.
What are your long-term goals in modeling, and how do you plan to achieve them within the fashion industry?
My long-term goal is to make a lasting name for myself in the industry. No matter how skilled you are, it means nothing if you’re not a good person.
What is your ultimate goal as a model, and how do you see your career evolving and making an impact in the industry?
My ultimate goal is to make a lasting contribution to the fashion and commercial industry that can positively influence and inspire future generations of models. Right now, I’m continuously learning and giving my best to make an impact.

How would you describe your modeling style, and what influences or inspirations guide your fashion choices on the runway and in photoshoots?
For every job, I always try to remind myself that what separates a good model from the rest is knowing how to connect with the clothes I’m walking in or the brand I’m modeling for. Once you step on the set, it is not just you and the clothes individually; you become an extension of each other. My modeling style depends on every gig, as no two are identical; each has its own story, each took a village of creatives to produce, and each requires an approach you can’t just replicate from another. That, I think, is what also influences me as a model—knowing that every runway piece I get to wear is a product of multiple experiences of the designers. Drawing inspiration from the narrative, and not just from the looks of the pieces, makes you realize that your job as a model is not merely to walk or pose, but to storytell.
Can you share a bit about your journey into the modeling industry and what experiences have shaped your approach to modeling?
Growing up, I have always been the bigger and shorter kid, so being in the industry now and actually making my presence known in the scene is still surreal for me. We have always been told that there’s a blueprint we have to follow to enter modeling. However, being able to walk for shows and work with big names now proves otherwise. Seeing models I’m working with on every set, coming in all different shapes and from all sorts of backgrounds, will always be THAT moment on every project. Seeing it in actuality makes me realize every time that I have a place in this industry.
What are your long-term goals in modeling, and how do you plan to achieve them within the fashion industry?
To be recognized by bigger platforms and to be featured in more magazines, not only for the sake of popularity but because I know that being recognized by bigger platforms means I can inspire a wider community. It is hard to say how I will get there, but I know for a fact that I will reach that goal if I continue telling more stories through fashion and beauty.
What is your ultimate goal as a model, and how do you see your career evolving and making an impact in the industry?
I believe that, as a non-traditional model, progressing in my craft is already a significant statement to make an impact on the industry. Taking chances on people with potential, regardless of their height and size, is important. Getting booked for fashion weeks, campaigns, and shoots are testaments that I am here and I am here to stay. As cliché as it may sound, my goal as a model will always be to walk in more runway shows and be the face of more designs because that is how I know I can inspire others.

How would you describe your modeling style, and what influences or inspirations guide your fashion choices on the runway and in photoshoots?
Strong and versatile—that’s my brand! That’s my modeling style. Being myself has always been my guide. I always channel the star in me, always in character when I’m doing a job. For when you are the best version of yourself, confidence follows, and everything will be effortless, fun, and magical everywhere you go or whatever you do.
Can you share a bit about your journey into the modeling industry and what experiences have shaped your approach to modeling?
I was originally based in Iloilo, where my potential as a model started. But as time unraveled my perspective towards the industry, I decided to expand my knowledge by leaving the island. This meant chasing the dream in a bigger city, which led me to Manila. My journey had a humble beginning. I got to share and take advice from people all over the place, accumulated their inspiring experiences, and used them as a base to pursue my career. Kindness has shaped my approach to modeling. The key to getting more jobs and connections is to be kind with the people you work with, for kindness goes a long way.
What are your long-term goals in modeling, and how do you plan to achieve them within the fashion industry?
My long-term goal is to establish a more concrete name in the industry. To achieve it, I have to be a dynamic model. By that, I mean I have to be firm with my work ethics, be collaborative in any aspect, keep the style I know—innovative if necessary—and, most importantly, work hard! Keep everything you do authentic.
What is your ultimate goal as a model, and how do you see your career evolving and making an impact in the industry?
To be an inspiration to everyone who has the same dream and desire as me—that’s the main goal. As much as I love to manifest the best of my career in the future, only time can really tell how it’s going to evolve. But I definitely see my career skyrocketing. I say that because I know I’m a hard worker; I put effort and details into my work. Ever since, I knew I was destined to harness this power, to have this dream planted inside my heart, and I’m just fulfilling the prophecy. Hahaha.

How would you describe your modeling style, and what influences or inspirations guide your fashion choices on the runway and in photoshoots?
My modeling style is a blend of authenticity, self-expression, and cultural pride, rooted in my goal to redefine beauty standards in the Philippines. I draw inspiration from my Mindanaon heritage by infusing my fashion sense with elements that celebrate the rich and distinct beauty of our culture. I also incorporate challenging social stereotypes and pop culture in my craft, which greatly influenced me growing up as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.
On the runway and in photoshoots, I aim to challenge traditional norms, particularly those that prioritize Eurocentric standards, by embracing my unique features, such as my height and complexion, which are often overlooked in the industry. I focus on building a lifestyle through modeling that resonates with those who feel unrepresented by conventional standards, encouraging them to embrace their uniqueness and creativity. My fashion and modeling choices are guided by this vision, ensuring that my presence on the runway and in photoshoots not only reflects my personal journey but also empowers others to pursue their dreams with confidence and authenticity.
Can you share a bit about your journey into the modeling industry and what experiences have shaped your approach to modeling?
It all started in a collaboration photoshoot with John Benedict and Loy Portraits, and I have no idea on what I'm about to do. But while I was posing, I felt so alive; it was as if my future was unfolding right through my eyes. I consider myself a neophyte in this industry since I started just a year ago while juggling work and studies. My journey into the modeling industry began without any connections or financial support, which taught me the value of perseverance and self-belief.
Starting from scratch was daunting, especially facing numerous rejections and challenges like my height, which is considered short for male models. These experiences, however, have been instrumental in shaping my approach to modeling.
Participating in Vogue Talks, Vogue Mindanao Faces, and collaborating with International and local brands like Calvin Klein, YSL, Chanel, Dior, MAISON JBVANDER, MagaraPH, Davao Pearls and Batik, PrefaceDVO, and more have been significant milestones, reinforcing my commitment to authenticity and diversity. My Mindanaon heritage is a constant source of inspiration, driving me to embrace cultural elements and challenge traditional beauty standards in the Philippines.
What are your long-term goals in modeling, and how do you plan to achieve them within the fashion industry?
My goals in modeling are ambitious yet deeply personal. I aspire to see myself on billboards in iconic locations like Times Square, participate in fashion campaigns in London, and grace the covers of renowned magazines both locally and internationally. Achieving these dreams is about more than just personal success; it's about redefining beauty standards and showcasing the richness of my Mindanaon heritage on a global scale.
To reach these, I am committed to building strong networks within the industry, which involves collaborating with diverse brands that value authenticity and creativity. I plan to maintain my unique voice and perspective, ensuring that every project I undertake reflects my commitment to diversity and individuality. Through my journey, I hope to pave the way for a more inclusive and representative fashion industry by inspiring a movement where creativity knows no boundaries and individuality is celebrated.
What is your ultimate goal as a model, and how do you see your career evolving and making an impact in the industry?
My ultimate goal as a model is to be a catalyst for change in the fashion industry, where inclusivity and diversity are the norms rather than exceptions. I envision my career evolving to break boundaries and establish new standards that celebrate individuality and cultural heritage. I am particularly passionate about bringing the vibrant fashion scene in Mindanao to the forefront, ensuring it receives the same spotlight as the northern regions. Rooted in my Mindanaon background, I aim to challenge traditional norms and promote authenticity and cultural representation. I hope to inspire Mindanaon or Bisaya kids who look like me, especially those who are members of the LGBTQIA+ community, to see that they, too, can succeed and be celebrated for their uniqueness. As my career progresses, I aspire to collaborate with brands and designers who share my vision of a more representative industry, inspiring others to embrace their identities. Through my journey, I aim to leave a lasting impact by fostering a fashion landscape where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.
Tracey Dela Cruz
How would you describe your modeling style, and what influences or inspirations guide your fashion choices on the runway and in photoshoots?
When it comes to my modeling style, alot of it is inspired by Kendall Jenner as I looked up to her and became an inspiration when starting as some of the people would say I have a slight resemblance of her, but ofcourse as a model you need to known by your own aura and how you would carry yourself in a crowd where people can easily notice you.
Can you share a bit about your journey into the modeling industry and what experiences have shaped your approach to modeling?
It all started when I joined Mark Models and had an amazing shoot with one of the best photographers in the country Mark Neto Diaz, this paved way to be able to join PMAP or Professional Models Association of the Philippines and it opened more opportunities such as being able to work for known local designers and various fashion shows.
