Co-produced by indie prod house SYQL Productions, Anim Name’s Okay is the band’s biggest, most ambitious self-produced show to date.
At 123 Block, Mandaluyong on October 21, six of the local music scene’s fast-rising acts will take the stage for hour-long sets— Reese Lansangan, munimuni, The Ridleys, Flu, Syd Hartha, and of course, Any Name’s Okay. Anim Name’s Okay will also be Lansangan’s second performance in the country since the Japan-based songstress’ sold-out solo show in January 2023.
Anim Name’s Okay will also celebrate the release of ‘Cobalt Blue,’ the band’s next single set to hit streaming platforms on October 18. This will be Any Name’s Okay’s first release in over a year, following their successful sophomore EP, ‘Leaving Home,’ released in August 2022.
In a mini festival-style approach that is common for SYQL events, illustrators with places in the band’s six-year journey are also set to table at the event: koalanov, Jouache, Awkward but Able, HARA (@haranikala), Albert Raqueño (@bert_draws), and MASIGABO.
Ticket-holders for the October 21 show were also given the chance to enjoy a free mini show at Mow’s Matalino on October 6, featuring long sets by of Mercury and Paolo Sandejas.
Anim Name’s Okay tickets are now for sale online at P800.
