After 12 long years, the world is inching closer to the resurrection of the battle against death and fate: Final Destination’s sixth movie is currently in the works.
During the CinemaCon 2023, the Warner Bros.’s panel confirmed that the new movie of the horror franchise is in the making, though the release date is yet to be announced.
The Freak’s director, Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein will be directing this sixth installment, working with Jon Watts, Spiderman’s film series director, who will be its writer and producer.

In spite of its usual pre-determined endgame that is death, what can we expect?
Nothing less is to be expected of course. Although there are no clues of plots yet, which we usually expect to be morbid while making everyone’s blood run cold, the film will be including some sort of twist.Jeffrey Reddick, the original writer and creator of the film series, said in their interview with Dread Central that the sixth film of the franchise would deviate from the usual formula of Final Destination, but assured viewers to maintain its premise. As petrifying as it gets, they will give us something as a suspense.
Final Destination 6 was announced last 2019, and actually confirmed to be consigned last year. The HBO Max then has decided to resuscitate the franchise.

I bet whatever we select among the frightening sequels of Final Destination, it has not failed to scare us at one point in our lives. This has marked its name in the world of horror film genre, and arguably one the best in scaring the pants off of us! The film just turned on our ‘survival mode’, as we get too careful of every move we make and fear that something ghastly may even happen, that will lead to something gruesome (I would not want to describe them) and dangerous.Final Destination is a horror movie franchise that began with the release of the first film in 2000. There have been five movies, and each of them follows the same storyline of people getting rid of the circumstances towards deaths, but their fate will remain inevitable. It is like chasing death in the most lurid way possible, whenever you mess with the pre-designed death.
Final destination plays with our fear of death itself, with no glimpse of the appearance of this mysterious supernatural element villain. So, if you were one of the cast, (or would you wish to be?), would you try escape from your fate? Nonetheless, this movie has just left us with no choice.
