Streaming platform Max will be the home for the upcoming Harry Potter new series. Warner Bros. Discovery announced on April 12 that the TV show will adapt one of the Harry Potter books each season with an entirely new cast. But we will never forget our original golden trio: Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint of! Well, unfortunately, author JK Rowling who has been vocal about transgender issues will be an executive producer.

The announcement was made during the launch of Warner Bros. Discovery’s debut streaming platform in Los Angeles. "Max's commitment to preserving the integrity of my books is important to me, and I'm looking forward to being part of this new adaptation which will allow for a degree of depth and detail only afforded by a long-form television series," Rowling said in a statement.
