Among the masses of comments, one tweet of his garnered the public's attention, as evident with a whooping 18.5k likes and counting. After a fan asked if there was a continuation of their 2020 film "I'm Drunk, I Love You", Paulo quote-tweeted the comment and answered, "Si Maja lang hinihintay. Siya kulitin niyo wag ako." This answer led to a spark of speculation among netizens about the potential second part of the movie starring Maja Salvador as his leading lady.

Later that same day, Maja Salvador, tweeted a memefied gif "Pero bakit parang kasalanan ko" gif from a scene on the film Four Sisters and A Wedding, with a caption: "script." Additionally, she also quote-tweeted a netizen reacting to the mentioned tweet with the acronym “IKYWK” which stands for “I Know You Know”. As cherry on top of it all, Maja also tweeted a gif of herself saying “Wag Ako”.

Netizens speculate that these tweets were her response towards Paulo's tweet saying that Maja is the one they're waiting for to commence the film sequel.

I'm Drunk, I Love You

"I'm Drunk, I Love You" is a 2020 film directed by Jaime Habac Jr that tackles the story of two college best friends going on one last road trip where they settle how they really feel for each other, days before graduation. The film became a cult favorite among Filipinos as it tackles the themes of boy bestfriend and the troubles of unclear boundaries among best friends which leads to hurtful yearnings between the characters of Maja Salvador and Paulo Avelino in the film. It's a Philippine Romcom classic so, it's no surprise that the fans want a second movie out of Carson and Dio.
