Turns out the proposal at the Harry Styles Love On Tour Manila was fake

You've probably seen that trending proposal video from the Harry Styles: Love On Tour in Manila last March 14, 2023, at the Philippine Arena. But if you haven't, Harry spotted a couple with a hand-written sign that read: "Harry, my boyfriend said he'll propose if you duet with him".

"Are you prepared to tie the knot? Are you certain?" Styles inquired of the couple, before asking them what song they wished to perform. They responded with "Sign Of The Times." "Would you like to perform it now, get the proposal done with, and then I'll complete the song?" Harry proposed to thunderous applause.

However, five days after the concert, rumors began to circulate among fans that the proposal was fake and staged. On a now private post, the woman who was proposed to posted on social media, admitting that her boyfriend had not actually planned to propose at the concert, ""Ahahahahahahhqhahahhwhah!!! at nagulantang ang kasama ko kasi wala siyang ka id-idea," she captioned the post of the placard.

Now the fans are expressing their anger and disappointment as they feel that this has spoilt their concert experience.
