HNT
Meet HNT, the band that's all about hanging in there! They consist of Chloe Hambre, who's the lead vocalist and guitarist, John Cruspero on bass, and Brent Luardo on drums. How did they come up with their name? Well, it's a shortened version of "Hang in There", which became their mission during the pandemic. They aim to relate and empathize with others through music.
The band's formation was a natural process. Brent and Chloe were high school classmates who joined the school's battle of the bands. Brent and John, on the other hand, were church mates and part of the music ministry. After Brent introduced John to Chloe, they all started to enjoy the process of creating music and discussing their thoughts together.
HNT loves different genres of music, but they're most inspired to play blues and pop rock. In 5 or 10 years, they dream of playing on a big stage with their audience singing along to their songs. They also hope to release albums and EPs, charting high and reaching the top of the industry.
Fans can expect HNT to deliver passionate and sincere music. They won't stop making songs and aim to use their music as a way to express themselves. They hope that listeners and fans will use their music as a medium to express themselves too. So let's all hang in there with HNT and vicariously live through each other's stories!
Lock Out Season
These five friends came together in 2017 when singer-songwriter River Strauss reached out to sound-engineer Rico Leonardo to produce some original songs. They thought it would be a blast to get some friends together and see how the songs would sound with dynamic drums and heavy electric guitars. CJ Cagandahan, Ervin Manalo, and Anton Conejero joined in and the rest is history.
The band's music is emo pop-punk, with a sound reminiscent of the 2000s. Fans of artists like Mayday Parade, The Wonder Years, The Menzingers, Movements, Modern Baseball, and similar bands will enjoy Lockout Season's sound.
What's in store for the future? Lockout Season is an independent self-managed band, planning to release new music every year at a steady pace. In five or ten years, they would have likely released 2-3 full-length albums, tackling themes of growing pains, adult friendships, and trying your best during times of hardship. They also hope to grow a fanbase that resonates with their music and have live audiences singing back their lyrics one day.
Lockout Season's members all have day jobs, but they hope to focus on the band full-time in 10 years. In the meantime, fans can expect at least one more single this year and the band is heavily focused on playing as many shows as they can. Get ready to rock with Lockout Season!
