In an Instagram post, the band announced they will hold a “Huling El Bimbo” concert at SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City on December 22.
Over the weekend, the public clamored for the band’s reunion after its members posted cryptic images showing an “E” written backwards.

Eraserheads, or E-Heads as the OG fans calls them, is an icon in the OPM industry. The Filipino rock band that first came together in 1989 and gave us hits like With A Smile, Pare Ko, and Huling El Bimbo. They are considered to be one of the most influential OPM bands and played together for over a decade before disbanding in 2002.
The band held a reunion concert in 2008, though it was cut short when Ely was rushed to the hospital for chest pains. The concert, called The Final Set, was held again in March 2009.
