If you are wondering where Rihanna and A$AP Rocky at the moment, well they are officially parents.
The power couple finally welcomed their firstborn together. According to multiple outlets, the baby was initially born on May 13 but wasn't made public until TMZ broke the news on May 19, which was later confirmed by People. Details on the baby's name and features are still yet to be revealed.
The pop icon turned beauty mogul first revealed her pregnancy at the end of January, after she and A$AP Rocky were spotted casually taking a stroll in New York City. Since then, RiRi has been keeping her maternity on point with her fashion by turning out outfit after outfit with her attending Milan Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, and gracing s
everal cover shoots.
The baby bump
On the April cover story of Vogue, the singer bared not only her baby bump, but also gave her approach on pregnancy style, saying, "I’m hoping that we were able to redefine what’s considered ‘decent’ for pregnant women. My body is doing incredible things right now, and I’m not going to be ashamed of that. This time should feel celebratory. Because why should you be hiding your pregnancy?”
She also shared that her pregnancy was not planned but came as a welcome surprise. “Planning? I wouldn’t say planning. But certainly not planning against it. I don’t know when I ovulate or any of that type of s–t. We just had fun,” she said. “And then it was just there on the test … Then I was in the doctor’s office the next morning and our journey began.”
But the couple also had a fair share of drama during Rihanna's final trimester with Rocky sparking rumors of cheating with fashion designer Amina Muaddi (which was later confirmed to be "fake gossip"), to her partner's arrest last April in connection to a shooting last November 2021 (he has since been released with a $550,000 bail)
