ALAMAT's Valfer officially withdraws from P-pop group




Fans of P-pop group Alamat are devastated after learning that Valfer Javellana Alo, who simply goes by Valfer has decided to leave the group.

On February 27, VIVA and Ninuno Media announced, “It is with sadness that we announce the departure of Valfer from Alamat as he moves on to new opportunities. We wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.”

The label continued, “We know this news is saddening and is going to be as hard for all of you as it is for us, but we would like to thank you for your continuous love and support to the group.”

A separate announcement made by ALAMAT’s creative director Jason Paul Laxamana also said that the group would continue as a 7-member boy group with Taneo, Mo, Tomas, R-ji, Alas, Gami and Jao.

“If it’s any consolation, it’s an amicable separation. The boys have held their own send-off dinner for Valfer last weekend,” he added.



The departure of Valfer has broken the hearts of many ALAMAT fans since the group is currently amidst their recent comeback. The group has recently dropped the music video of their comeback single, "ABKD."
