Why isn’t anybody talking about Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game?

Gear up, Ramona Flowers stans! The infamous comic book turned film turned video game has officially re-released just this January 2021.

People of all ages have raved over the trendsetting Scott Pilgrim Franchise for years now, with its array of references in both the film and comic book (e.g. Knives’ hair dyeing scene made its own rounds on Tiktok, “I’m in lesbians with you” or “I have to pee on her,” the infamous Manic Pixie Dream Girl personification through Ramona Flowers) and after the game’s removal years before, some have even forgotten to hype it up now in all its playable glory!

And no, this is not the Mandela Effect! Initially, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game had its first release was way back August 2010; however, it was delisted when its license ran out during the year 2014. This led to many fans of the Scott Pilgrim in an emotional fit over not being able to play such a fan-favorite game.

Luckily for the fans of the franchise, its revival came just at the right time, while most of us are still stuck in our houses (with too much time on our hands), this 2021.

Once again, anybody can now fight the seven evil ex-boyfriends, exes of Ramona Flowers, as Ramona Flowers herself, or Scott Pilgrim aka the title character, Knives Chau (as an assist), Kim Pine, Wallace Wells, Stephen Stills, or even… Nega Scott (but that’s just a secret). Available for both on Singleplayer or Multiplayer use!

As a battle through Kisses and KO’s, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game, has brought us a wondrous storytelling of how all is fair in love and war, as the player aims to finish the storyline of defeating Ramona Flower’s evil exes, through the various perspectives and fanfares of each different player you choose to use.

The game can be bought through Ubisoft’s official website here.
