Air Jordan 1 x Fragment x Travis Scott (Fall 2021)
Travis Scott is a rapper whose signature Air Jordan 1’s highest bid on StockX is at, as of writing, around P115,000. Fragment, on the other hand, is the imprint of Japanese designer Hiroshi Fujiwara, the godfather of the Ura-Harajuku fashion scene. The Air Jordan 1 Fragment’s highest bid, as of writing, is at around P188,000.
Put the insane hype from Fragment and the equally out-of-this-world hype of Travis Scott together in one Air Jordan 1, the most iconic sneaker of all time, and… we think you can guess what level of hype will go to these blue and white bad boys. They’re probably the most highly anticipated pair of kicks the year.
OFF-WHITE x Air Force 1 Low “University Gold” (July 2021)
It may surprise some people but Italian luxury fashion label OFF-WHITE was actually founded by an American designer, Virgil Abloh, and is no stranger to collabs with Nike, which feature a deconstructed shoe look with Abloh’s signature red tag.
There’s been lots of success behind the collaboration and it’s really no surprise that another one is coming this year, the Air Force 1 Low University Gold. No surprise too that when LeBron James was seen wearing his personalized pair of this upcoming collab, gifted by Abloh himself, it definitely turned heads.
Union x Air Jordan 4 “30th Anniversary” (Summer 2021)
After their successful Air Jordan 1 and 4 collaborations, Union Los Angeles is back with another Air Jordan 4 collaboration to commemorate their 30th anniversary. For those unfamiliar with Union Los Angeles, it’s a men’s store that aims to be the bridge between music, art, fashion, and unique items. Simply put, they are all about fashion and function, as well as classics with a twist.
It is no surprise then that they are willing to put together unique colorways for their next collab, unafraid either to make a few changes to the already beloved Air Jordan 4. Like stitching the tongue, for example.
