These Filipina video game streamers are proving that gaming isn’t just for men

Most, if not all, girls have been told growing up that certain things are meant for boys only, like basketball, cars, robots, and video games. It’s still a notion that’s really prevalent these days even among adults. For many out there, there are just things that aren’t very feminine and girly. 

But hey, it’s already 2021 and if there’s one thing that’s for sure, girls have no more tolerance and patience for such outdated thinking. And so if a girl wants to play video games, so will she. It may be a man’s world but girls kick ass in it too, and we’ve compiled a list of Filipina video game streamers to show just what we mean!

Romanova

Tatjana Medina is a scuba instructor and even a lieutenant at the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary. But in the world of video game streaming, she’s known as Romanova. Her pink-themed videos are a breath of fresh air in a video gaming world full of testosterone and she plays a variety of games too! DOTA, Genshin Impact, Dead by Daylight, and even Cooking Simulator are just some of the games she streams on her Facebook page.

Katwan Gaming

Katrina Aldaba, better known as Katwan Gaming, describes herself as a weeb lady who plays different video games depending on her mood. She’s a big fan of Call of Duty: Warzone, but you can also watch her play Genshin Impact and Valheim on her Facebook and Twitch. 

Julianapzuu

If you’re a fan of League of Legends: Wild Rift, then you will surely enjoy the video game content of Julia Tuazon. Otherwise known as Julianapzuu in the gaming world, Julia works as a shoutcaster and counts Mobile Legends, DOTA, and Call of Duty as some of the other games she plays. Kitz Cua

A cosplayer, a gamer, and a streamer all in one, Kitz Cua is definitely not your ordinary video game content creator. If you love League of Legends and retro anime aesthetic as much as she does, her content is definitely your cup of tea.
