David Schwimmer dropped the news that filming for the long-delayed "Friends" reunion is finally happening and it's sooner that we all expect.
In an interview with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM, the actor, who played Ross in the beloved 90s sitcom, said the gang is finally having a reunion that even the COVID-19 pandemic can't stop.
"Oh, it’s happening," said Schwimmer. "Actually, in a little over a month, I’m heading out to LA." The 54-year-old actor said.
"We figured out a way to film it safely, and there’s going to be a portion of it that we film outside because of, you know, for safety protocols," he said.
When asked who would be hosting the reunion special, Schwimmer replied: “I don’t know if I can say who. It’s not Ellen [DeGeneres], it’s not Billy Crystal. I could tell you who it’s not.”
"Friends," ran between 1994 and 2004 starred Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc. The show is so iconic that even the younger generations still binge watch it.
