Born This Way, both the album and the single was released ten years ago by Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, best known to the whole world as Lady Gaga. The single, in particular, became a number one hit in 25 countries and was also Lady Gaga’s third single to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
“Party Rock Anthem” - LMFAO featuring Lauren Bennett and GoonRock
We won’t be surprised if you party to this song all those years ago or maybe even today. The first single of electronic dance music duo LMFAO’s second album, Party Rock Anthem went to number one in countries like the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Germany.
“Moves Like Jagger” - Maroon 5 featuring Christina Aguilera
Maroon 5 has come a long, long way since they were once known as Kara’s Flowers back when its original members were still in high school. In 2011, they teamed up with Christina Aguilera for the song Moves Like Jagger, which became Maroon 5’s second number one single and Christina’s fifth.
“The Boys” - Girls’ Generation
Let’s hop on to our side of the globe with South Korea’s Nation’s Girl Group, Girls’ Generation! The then-nine member group released their studio album titled The Boys in 2011 and the single of the same name came out in October of the same year. It was followed by English and Japanese versions of the song with the former serving as the group’s debut song.
