Live life like in the early 2000's with Myspace carbon-copy, SpaceHey!

Myspace is back! Well, sort of.

While everyone was busy making dalgona coffee and practicing Tiktok dances, on the other side of the world, a German-teenager named An used his newfound time to recreate a near carbon copy of the OG social network, Myspace.

The new social media platform is called SpaceHey, and it is already making waves from musicians and other users who want to live life like it’s 2005 again.

SpaceHey

According to An, who interestingly never owned a MySpace account, he only heard about Myspace from his friends and on the internet. “I never came to use Myspace. I was only a few years old when Myspace was popular,” An told Vice

SpaceHey offers almost all the features everyone misses, from the original Myspace. From the auto-playing music to personalizing your profile using CSS or HTML — everything is nostalgic.

Since launching on Nov. 29, 2020, SpaceHey has already accrued over 55,000 global users. An also paid homage to MySpace cofounder Tom Anderson by automatically being on every SpaceHey member’s friends list.
